Justin E. Garrison, Jr. (“Gary”), President and Founder, Author

Justin E. (Gary) Garrison, Jr., is a well-known financial educator in the central Arkansas area. Over the years, Gary has counseled thousands of Arkansas seniors. Retirees from many major employers, including AT&T, Baptist Health, Farmers Insurance Group, Entergy, the VA Medical Center, and the Arkansas public schools system, have consulted with him to find ways to preserve their capital, increase their income and more profitably organize their investments. His specialty is assisting those approaching or now in retirement financially prepare for and enjoy their retirement years.

Gary is a graduate of Louisiana Tech with a degree in finance and has been in the financial services business for over 25 years. He is President and Founder of Asset Protection Group, LLC, which is a Little Rock, AR, based insurance firm which specializes in annuities, long-term care, and life insurance. He is also the President and Founder of Asset Protection Wealth Management, LLC, a Little Rock, AR, based Registered Investment Advisory firm which specializes in fixed income portfolios, managed mutual funds, exchange traded funds, separately managed accounts, and tax planning. Gary is an Investment Advisor Representative registered with the Arkansas Securities Department.

Mary Ann Calhoun, Office Manager

As Office Manager, Mary Ann works closely with Gary and meticulously oversees all aspects of the office. She joined APWM after over 8 rewarding years at a large CPA firm (Vawter, Gammon, Norris & Co.) in Memphis, Tennessee, bringing with her a wealth of knowledge! She manages all daily operations, both in office and through social media and marketing. She has a positive attitude and strives to continually exceed the expectations of our valued clients and the APWM team! She loves visiting with clients in the office and meeting potential clients at our events! Mary Ann lives in Little Rock with her husband and two beloved lab-mix rescues, Duke and Remi.

Bailey Smith, Administrative Assistant

Bailey is a graduate of Henderson State University with a degree in accounting. She spent the first 4 years after college gaining experience as an administrative assistant with a local property management company. Bailey is responsible for many clerical tasks and assists Mary Ann with day-to-day operations. She helps manage our busy schedule and prepare reports for meetings. She works hard to ensure all visitors feel welcomed. She lives in Benton with her shepherd-mix Beau and spends the majority of her free time with him. Although Bailey is new to the APWM family – she is excited to learn the ropes, meet our clients and participate in our events. She looks forward to her future with us!
